When Owner Zabdiel Dewar first arrived in Rocky Mount, he had a vision for an extraordinary downtown that he wanted to be a part of it. He launched D Chill Spot conceived with the welcoming, fun, relaxing spirit well known in his native Jamaica where everyone is welcome. Located at 207 E. Thomas Street in downtown Rocky Mount, close by the Rocky Mount Event Center, D Chill Spot is open Tuesday through Sunday.

Larema Coffee House is a community-driven space for craft drinks, foods, events, and local goods. Owner Kevin McLaughlin traveled the world to learn all the steps that goes into serving a delicious cup of coffee - from the farmers through roasting to coffee shops that brew it. He has deep experience in the coffee industry and his dream was always to open a coffee shop that welcomed everyone through its doors. Located at 106 S. Washington Street in downtown Rocky Mount, Larema Coffee House is open every day for breakfast, and recently for dinner on the weekends.
